About Shrutibhyam
Shrutibhyam was born from a personal transformation.
A few years ago, our founder's own health journey led her to rethink everything she put on — and in — her body. As she shifted to a path of mindful eating and yoga (she's now a certified yoga instructor under the Ministry of AYUSH), she began to understand something simple but powerful: our skin breathes, and whatever touches it eventually makes its way into our body too.
That realization sent her looking for a better way to cleanse her skin — one without harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or artificial additives. Soap, it turned out, was the missing piece. Months of research into cold-pressed oils, natural colorants, and pure essential oils led to the first Shrutibhyam bar — handcrafted, honest, and made the way skincare used to be made.
Today, every Shrutibhyam soap is created using the traditional cold-process method, which preserves natural glycerin for gentle, lasting moisture. We use cold-pressed coconut, olive, almond, castor, and neem oils, along with vitamin E and pure essential oils like cedarwood, ylang ylang, geranium, frankincense, lavender, and patchouli — never synthetic fragrance, never synthetic color.
No harsh chemicals. No shortcuts. Just nature, time, and care.
Many of our customers with sensitive skin have shared how gentle these soaps feel, with some noting visible improvement in dryness, irritation, and breakouts over time — a result we're deeply grateful for, even as we know every skin is unique.
